Walt Disney is in the process of unveiling Disney’s step into luxury real estate with ultra luxury vacation homes. These luxury homes are being developed in Florida’s Walt Disney World.
These homes will cost anywhere between $2 million to $0.5 million, which will make this the costliest homes in Florida recession struck real estate market. The residential property value has dropped by about 50% to 60% because of less demand and few bank loans. But Disney believes that the residential home market is going to make a comeback especially in the luxury section.
The project will be resided in a 980 acre site with 2 golf courses and will include 450 luxury homes and a Four-Seasons hotel with up to 450 rooms. Along with this there are plans for clubhouse, pedestrian and cycling pathways, parks, and various wetlands and numerous conservation areas.
It will be a vacation cum permanent residential home and perfect for rich families who like to feel like home while on vacation. These newly built residential homes will compete against the family friendly luxury serviced resorts and only time will tell if they will be successful or will it go the way as the proposed “Celebration” residential layout project went. But one thing’s for sure, it will be something to look forward to, sine no one knows what’s in store with Disney being involved in the project.
